This project is about upcycling and repurpose of ideas and resources. I made a collage, a written new text out of phrases taken from each of the twelve Vogue Spain magazines I received from April 2021 to March 2022. I also made a collage of images out of each number.
Then I used the leftovers of the fabrics of the projects I had produced for this portfolio to make textile art collage pieces that somehow match the poems.
It was an exercise that I designed to be able to observe and gain awareness of the way I have of dealing with the information and the influences that I receive, of the thinking paths I use when I design.
What actually calls my attention in the cumulus? How can the things that interest me live together? How would each reader of a magazine digest the images, ideas and all the stimuli? What new different things could be made out of what is left after that digestion? What does really remains?
